Pauly Shore Week Day Four

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

March XXXIst, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Pauly Shore returns to this blog to make a comment on being able to laugh & mock yourself. A trait in many comedians who when I have been in clubs are constantly mocking each other & calling one another not funny in a light-hearted tone. Having admitted here that I tried stand-up comedy myself a few times and realized that I sucked, I can truly tell students of comedy have to remember that it's all "part of the act."

"I giggle when I put myself down. It's just funny to me."

A. C. Rutherford Is Rolling Over In His Grave!

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

March XXXth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Talk about embarrassing, the guy that was the only candidate for Alberta Liberal Party Leader quits only 51 hours before the filing deadline. So he would have been acclaimed & he quits! Something is fishy in the H2O political science students. My feeling that it is secret negotiations led by Steve Mandel & Tommy Lukaszuk who are upset that Mr. Jason Kenney won the command deck chair of PC Alberta (fair & square I point out to the LGBTQ crowd.)

These negotiations are to merge the Alberta Liberals (the party that fun forgot), disaffected Progressive Conservatives, Greens, & New Democrats fed up with a lack of cabinet access into the Alberta Party led by Greg Clark. Or perhaps another choice.

1. Tommy Lukaszuk: Shoved & shouted at a Wildrose supporter & senior citizen who shoved him first so no charges were laid by either party. Cheated in his battle with Alberta Liberal candidate Chris Kibermanis in Round 1 who won the MLA job away from Thomas, PC's just found a good Tory appointed judge to overturn the result. Plus blew what 200,000$ on cell phone calls when email is free to support a backbench Tory MLA having personal problems, & got fired as Deputy Premier by Ally Redford. I mean how bad a cabinet minister must you be to be fired by the XIVth premierus wonderchildus?

2. Steve Mandel: Fully vindicated now on the arena matter since the Edmonton Oilers are playoff bound & about to become the next Chancellor of Concordia University, wouldn't it be sad if Steve had to give up that chancellorship to become leader of such a hodgepodge to avoid a conflict of interest?

Greg Clark Is Looking More & More Like A Dark Horse Winner Except IV The Fact He Represents Calgary-Elbow & We Sure As Shit Don't Need Another Premier From That Cursed Riding & I Have 29 Months Of Evidence To Back That Claim,

Pauly Shore Week Day Three

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., Highlands Public Library Terminal #XV, Edmonton, Alberta

March XXIXth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Executive Dissertations prevails upon Pauly Shore to talk about how angry people are in politics. Political students take note this makes sense as the left hates the election of & the presidency President Donald John Trump, Republican-New York. The right meanwhile hates the left with equal vitriol.

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Pauly Shore returns to an all new Executive Dissertations with a comment to students touring a comedy club with him on being rooted in reality in his stand-up routines & in life itself.

Going Quadracticing

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin. #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

March XXVIth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I myself am not particularly adept at numbers like quite a few aspergers syndrome afflicted persons. Its quite embarrassing to me really so I don't mind quadratics where some letters are in the equations. Of course I cover off my disability by using dating in Roman Nvmerals so as to not lose track of the days & it helps me a lot because the letters are both letters & numbers to me simultaneously. I like mathematical equations but I prefer them along with pictures that relate to the equation(s.) I am sure that there are many other students who are the same way.

GSA Crazy

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin.
#6, 14504-108 Avenue
Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

March XXVth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA
Minister of Education,
New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Your argument against the II private Christian schools not welcoming Gay/Straight Alliance Clubs (GSAs) has more holes in its argument than a block of Swiss cheese. Thus making your ministerial order seem like an even bigger joke. Furthermore the school admin. & legal reps have tried to meet with you for II years & you won't even listen to them, let alone meet, this shows intolerance. If no student has asked for a GSA, & according to all school records none has, then the two schools have a valid human rights complaint against Her Majesty's New Democratic Government & you & the Department of Education in particular. If I was Pastor Coldwell, or even their lawyer Mr. Carpay, I would take this & fight your ministerial order all the way in open court as a Human Rights Commission matter, both provincially & federally. That being said I am in favour of the GSAs, just not the way you are forcing them so violently on people & would tie you up in courts for years & cost taxpayers untold cash. Even if Pastor Coldwell lost the legal battle, he'd lock in an even stronger Christian conservative base against you. You remind me of the reject Ed Stelmach & his forcing of the terrible land-use bylaws on people. A horrible thing for Ed to do & as a farmer he should have known better. Shades of communism by both you & Farmer Ed to be sure!

Faxed Laxed My Time Is Being Taxed

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., Millwoods Public Library Terminal #VII, Edmonton, Alberta

March XXIVth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I find it annoying when using the fax machines in library branches that the staff have to take the handset off so that people don't make personal phone calls. Now library faxes only allow you to dial personal & 1-800 numbers so they don't pay for that cost, but students & adults tying up these lines (which taxpayers fund) prevent me & other library patrons from being able to access these machines for legitimate faxing needs such as job applications &/or searches.

"A Two Minute Game Panel Would You Please Lead Off Betty?"

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

March XXIInd, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I'm just advising you that its a national story & that sadly that there was loss of life in the story (like the sophisticated host/moderator Fred Davis would in his superb voice) one last time as the great Betty Kennedy, a brilliant journalist (leaving just Allan Fotheringham left as the last legendary member of the panel) on "Front Page Challenge" from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) News Division has died at 91. Author & Historian Pierre Berton, Betty, excellent journalists like Gordon Sinclair, Jack Webster, & Toby Robins are all gone now.

Betty with her style of asking broadcast quality questions on radio was an absolutely perfect fit for the show & added a nice air of femininity to an otherwise all male show. 27 years as a radio host in Toronto at CFRB is a remarkable run in addition to her writing & tv appearances, newspaper columns. Definitely a quality Canadian journalist of the old school. I met Betty & the "Front Page" gang in MCMXCV (1995) when they taped one of their last sets of shows here in Edmonton. Fred Davis had a friend here in the business & he got clearance from the CBC National News Department to do something never done before in "Front Page" history & never repeated & this was to tape 4 shows back to back. It was quite enthralling to see the panel ask queries & try to pin down each of the "mystery guests." Yes Betty Kennedy, a journalist/broadcaster/writer always at her finest.

March XXIst, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave;

When buying a home or other such real estate, students studying real estate should know that it is good to have an inspection by a certified home inspector as well as contractors/trades persons look into making sure the abode is habitable before buying. The seller should also be aware of deficiencies & be prepared to fix them as best as possible before even considering selling.

The Meeting

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

March XXth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

So Brian Jean of the Wildrose & Jason Kenney of PC Alberta are meeting today to discuss getting their two parties merged. Political Students will note:

I. They have to agree on a timeline for merging.

II. They also have to agree to make overtures to Nolan Crouse once he becomes Alberta Liberal Party Leader. Nolan will bring fiscally Blue Liberal MLAs to the Alberta Legislature in the Paul Martin style, maybe 6-8. This total could be enough to nullify a combined conservative merged party & thus keep Premier Rachel Notley & the NDP in power another term.

III. If Alberta Party Leader Greg Clark was smart he'd try to enter negotiations as per the idea of Rev. William Wade Izzard of the Universal Life Church Canada First Nations Youth Outreach Ministries (& Edmonton-Centre Federal Liberal Candidate wanting to take the seat over from Randy Boissonnault, MP) & merge with Nolan to prevent him from combining with PC's & Wildrose.

March XIXth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Forests give us the wood we need to build the homes & infrastructure of the future. A lesson surely learned in the Slave Lake & Fort Mac forest fires & by me as I luckily had no apartment damage unlike some of my neighbours so can move back into my building.

Forestry 1010 lets students understand how forests can be very helpful to city, both to animals & other creatures, as well as humans.

Forestry 1090 teaches students about the different forest types across Canada.

Forestry 2010 gives students the opportunity to learn about how to protect forests & their surrounding ecosystem.

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

History students will I am sure agree with Conservative Senator David Tkachuk that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, PC, MP, Liberal-Papineau is wrong in getting rid of the human rights award named after the late Progressive Conservative PM John George Diefenbaker, PC just because it was invented by former Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper, PC. Mister Diefenbaker did a lot for human rights & now the Liberals want to erase his memory but piss away what $200,000.00 plus on as memorial to separatism supporter & late Parti Quebecois Premier Rene Levesque who deserves a kick in the skull & not to be remembered as a great Canadian, especially as he tried to destroy this great Dominion Of Canada! I would piss on Rene Levesque's grave if I had a chance, & I would bring flowers & a dram of whisky to Mister Diefenbaker's who was so respected by others he once was saved from drowning by future Liberal Prime Minister John Napier Turner, PC!

March Xth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

My general rule of thumb that I learned from my carpenter/cabinetmaker father (& that I always follow) is to limit my use of a crowbar to carpentry projects & construction sites, & also to the project or site property needing its use & not to human flesh. I'm quite sure that the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) who investigate crime will appreciate knowing this, just as I & Edmonton students & their families appreciate that the EPS caught this perpetrator who attacked the poor young mother & broke her arms with a crowbar in King Edward Park neighbourhood in under forty-eight hours flat thanks to public assistance & vigilance! Gosh I hope this very nice young lady has a speedy recovery & her family keeps her safe, happy, & healthy so she can get back to her daily routine much sooner!

Dear Dave:

After losing the use of my apartment for goodness knows how long to someone who was carelessly smoking & completely destroying my life & that of my cat ol' J.R. (James Redwing) & the other residents in our building, I am ever so grateful to the Canadian Red Cross for getting me a decent hotel room in which to be safe at as I'm short funds now due to this emergency. Red Cross staff really care about people first: a great attribute! Having stayed at the Chateau Louis Hotel many times over the years (usually for a weekend every July with my late & superb mom, Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed.), I appreciate the quality "Ukrainian Lads" team of Julian Koziak & his great son Don providing me a home, a hot dinner & later this morning, a buffet breakfast. The first decent meals I've had since Monday at High Noon. Not to mention a place for at least one night anyway I can get a decent night's rest after two other horrible & uncomfy places & attend to matters online such as paperwork & dealing with insurance matters! J.R. Cat is safe at his grandpa's hobby shop taking down mice & his continuance of trying to obtain "world purrmination" (as if he hasn't already succeeded students & folks who know cats will agree!) Having run against Don for political office, & helped him & his dad on political campaigns in the past, I can truly say that this is a superb hotel with an energetic staff taught by excellent owners who could teach students in hospitality the trade of customer service immaculately! A further shout out to Leston James & its holding company Leston Holdings my landlord for its excellent assistance to displaced tenants!

B. Native Americans (or First Nations) have lived in the park for at least 11,000 years.

It looks like smoking in bed may have been the cause. I am just glad when I got back to my place this morning to get my cellular, my insurance policy, some clothes & cat food that there seems to be only smoke damage but no destroyed items in my suite & sad that another other cat died from a careless human's error. Students & others are all disaffected, that is what 12 suites of families with no homes. All I can say is Davey is that I'M SO GLAD TO BE ALIVE & THAT NO PEOPLE DIED & I HAVE TENANT INSURANCE! With LXXVIII (78) glorious years of fighting crime in Gotham City & around the world & other universes, I can certainly see why The Caped Crusader is doing so very well in The Lego Batman Movie! But bats themselves are quite interesting creatures.

1. They can eat up to M (1,000) mosquitoes an hour which is great as it cuts into the mosquito bite totals on humans.

2. Bats can live on average at least XL (40) years, which is a long animal lifespan.

3. Giant fox like bats that live in Indonesia have wingspans of over VI (6) feet.

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave;

I just don't understand with all of the millions of square feet of empty office space for medical professionals that is perfectly sound & serviceable, we keep on adding new space. It just seems like excess space that we don't need that could instead be used to retrofit out hospitals such as the Misericordia & the Royal Alexandra. Sure we want medical students to have only the very best but some of the older buildings are built better than modern facilities, builders might be wiser to focus their efforts on fixing older facilities.

An Excess Load,

Rory
