"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Dr. Murphy

July VIIth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

We clear out the Pennsylvania column at Executive Dissertations with Congressman Timothy F. Murphy. Timmy in Committee questions the need for making coal mining families poor by shutting down their industry. This will destroy small town & family life, something that you & the NDP are doing here in Alberta with the forced coal mine closures here. Thousands of good union jobs & working folk on the unemployment lines, something I might point out again that Premier Rachel Notley's late father Grant would have never done.

"All we're asking, at least for Americans out there, who are told that their going to lose their jobs as power plants shut down, as coal mines are shut down, as towns move back into incredible, unspeakable poverty - I ask you to look into the eyes of people who are in poverty of all ages, the young, the old, the in-between & make the EPA look into their eyes as well...Somebody ought to speak up for Americans who are losing their jobs."

Cleveland, Ohio,

Rory
