"Will The Senator Yield The Floor?"-Patty Murray

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

November XIth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen. B. Ed., MLA
Minister of Education,
New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

We must turn to Senator Patty Murray of The Evergreen State of Washington for a discussion on the many different political offices that United States Senate Chamber & how her experience in education can help her make sound educational decisions on policy on behalf of students in her state. On this solemn occasion of Remembrance/Veterans Day, I cannot get down to Washington State to talk to the Senator in person, plus its also my XLIst (41st) birthday so besides attending Remembrance services today, I have birthday supper plans with relatives tonight. As a result of this I need a stringer, so who better than someone with the same last name, Kelly Koopmans: the intrepid reporter & co news anchor in mornings for the excellent KOMO News Channel 4 Broadcast Team based in Seattle?

"Over the years-I've had a chance to work on education from many angles-as a pre-school teacher, a PTA president, a school board member, & now as a United States Senator. I'm committed to ensuring that our schools can offer strong, high quality education programs."

Apple State,

Rory
