Dear Dave:

An Editor's Note: It would have been a lot less embarrassing for the Edmonton Police Service if the member ticketed for parking in the handicapped zone at the Tim Hortons wasn't Chief Rod Knecht himself!

Called into work an emergency Saturday shift after ten straight XII (12) hour shifts, Detective Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department realizes that he is dealing with a case of poisoned illegal narcotics. The case is appropriate to the day what with the accidental poisonings & one patient death at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. A young man, his girlfriend, & another man are dead because of them. One of the overdose victims killed another woman before he died. The Detective believes that he & his squad could be dealing with many more victims & the horror sets in. If more people die, undoubtedly many of them will be students with their whole lives ahead of them taken too early. His associate says that she thinks that the death might be localized but Det. Friday, ever cautious as always worries still as he has seen these victims of drug poisonings many times before & its sad to him that these kids never get to reach their full potential & are taken down in their prime. So he comments on his associate's remarks.

"I wanted her to be right, but my gut knew better. This case was far from closed."

Well Then Close It Joseph Before The Body Count Rises Exponentially,

Rory
