Gubernatorial-Maryland

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

May XXth, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Retired

Dear Gordon:

Governor Larry Hogan of Maryland wants readers of Executive Dissertations to know about his efforts in routing out corruption. Having just taken office this pass January, Larry is quite ticked off with all of the hidden secrets from past administrations (just like the about to be newly in office New Democrats are here I am sure in Alberta, shredded documents, um confetti aside.) The Governor is cleaning up this mess through his power of signing State Executive Orders. He is doing this to show Maryland's young people that he wants an administration that is corruption free with public servants in his office to serve honourably & the people first rather than lining their own pockets.

"Executive Order #01.01.2015.08 (amends Executive Order #01.01.2015.07):

WHEREAS, Public service is a public trust, requiring employees to place loyalty to the Constitution, the laws, & ethical principals above private gain;

WHEREAS, Marylanders have the right to expect honest & honorable conduct in the performance of State business, free of the existence or perception of any corruption or other misconduct;

WHEREAS, It is imperative that any criminal or unethical conduct by any State employee or contractor be promptly reported to the appropriate authorities for investigation."

Annapolis,

Rory
