A Tale Of Two James's

Premier James Prentice
Rory Joe Koopmans, B. Admin., Independent Candidate, Edmonton-Centre

April XXIIIrd, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative Candidate, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

Premier James Prentice:

A. Took one "look in the mirror" & decided to back off on giving the Office of the Child Advocate its funding increase to prevent more foster kids deaths (funding just awarded days earlier.) More of which have occurred under Progressive Conservative administrations than any other Alberta political party.

B. Took one "look in the mirror" & decided that the Hon. Stephen Mandel, A. Arts. B. Sci., M. Poli. Sci., Minister of Health, Progressive Conservative Candidate, Edmonton-Whitemud would be better with a half past dead at 69 year old man as Health Minister & as an MLA than a widely respected Interim Premier Dave Hancock (who was liked for his Childrens First policy by all sides) & is only 59. Tell me that Steve hasn't been a even more of a dud as an MLA than he was in his last term as Mayor.

C. Took one "look in the mirror" & decided to backpedal on his cut to the charitable tax credit. Wouldn't have this been smarter before sending your policy platform to the printer's Jim?

Captain James Kirk

Captain James Kirk:

D. Took "one look in the mirror" & realized that to save the Enterprise (TM) from certain dangers he had to play the game in "Mirror, Mirror" to make sure none of his friends as well as officers came to harm.

E. Took "one look in the mirror" & set up a safe place for alcohol abusing women in honour of his late wife Nerine who died of alcohol abuse. A charity which has gotten many women with substance abuse problems off these substances & out of danger to once again live normal lives.

F. Took "one look in the mirror" & went to a Floridian Red Cross fundraising & blood drive initiative rather than attend his best friend & former First Officer Mister Spock's funeral. Faced down ridiculous criticisms for not attending the funeral. Well what was was Captain James supposed to do? Spock's Vulcan/Human green blood had stopped flowing. He'd want the Captain to help the living get proper blood. "Live long & prosper!"

Of These Two James's: Give Me The Latter Rather Than The Former Any Day,

Rory
