Gubernatorial-Alaska

February XVIIth, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA
Minister of Education,
Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

As the old Johnny Horton standard goes, we head "North To Alaska" & its Governor Bill Walker who just assumed office on December Ist last year. Alaska being so remote faces extra costs in having items sent to its residents & their families in the Interior, not to mention the energy costs expended in getting these items and Alaskan citizens around. Not just from the contiguous XLVIII (48) American States, but from points around the world & so the Governor wants to lower the economic burden for families.

"I will continue to work closely with the highest levels of my staff & cabinet to expedite these efforts & relieve the burden facing Interior residents."

Juneau,

Rory
