The Parliamentarians-Geoff Regan, PC, MP

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

January XVIIth, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

Attracting immigrants that want to be Canadians some day & actually contribute to this nation rather than their birth country is what the Hon. Geoff Regan, PC, MP suggests. This fair immigration policy rather than just temporary foreign workers will make things better for Canada both economically & culturally here as these immigrants will raise their families here.

"One of the objectives identified in the report is increasing attraction & retention of international immigrants, particularly international graduates. In order to attract & retain immigrants, we need an immigration process that is fair & efficient, & sufficient supports to help newcomers build their network, improve their language skills, & have their credentials recognized in Canada."

Number CCXLII (242),

Rory
