November IIIrd, MMXIV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA-Elect
Minister of Education,
Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

In Presenting Petitions, Mylene Freeman, MP is trying to ensure safe & reliable public transportation IV students & others in her riding as well as Canadians across the Dominion. This makes sense & its not just a New Democratic Party policy, traffic congestion crosses all parties, races, religions, economic boundaries across the country. It affects the health & safety of many Canadians. Not to mention the environmental damages caused by the automobile pollutants.

"Mr. Speaker, my IInd (second) petition today is about creating a national public transit strategy.Like me & the people of Argenteuil-Papineau-Mirabel, the petitioners believe that Canadians deserve a reliable, fast and affordable public transit system, especially because of traffic congestion, which causes loss of productivity for those who commute in & to Montreal every day, & because of environmental pollution."

Number CXIV (114),

Rory
