Hon. Jeff Johnson, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Athabasca-Sturgeon-RedH2O

Dear Jeff:

The first man to die in office as Commander-In-Chief, President William Harrison never really got to make a real impact after only XXXII (32) days in office. A military man by profession, President Harrison knew to tell students & Americans interested in history &/or military service that the military must be held in check in favour of citizens rights.

"The chains of military despotism, one fastened upon a nation, ages might pass away before they could be shaken off."

March IVth-April IVth, MDCCCXLI (1841),

Rory
