Dear Jeff:

I've always said that radio is the most intimate & educational broadcast medium. Now that Corus Radio & it's local news station 630 CHED AM have parted ways with Dan Tencer, perhaps its a good time for station managers like Syd Smith to allow Northern Alberta Institute Of Technology (NAIT) Radio students some on air broadcast time as guest co-hosts. In this way, Andrew can do a week or two of shows out of NAIT'S broadcast facility, & the students can reciprocate & come into CHED studios. As I attended NAIT business programs I can attest to the school's quality in terms of programs & instruction.

By doing this, the students gain confidence in live on-air broadcasting, plus they get mentored by Andrew Grose, the remaining host & other radio personalities at CHED & each of its affiliated stations (iNews 880, CISN FM, Fresh FM.) Plus Andrew gets to hang out with young people & be encouraging II them as they learn how II engage in dialogue on news & current affairs issues of the day. Not to mention the fact that NAIT can cross-promote its program on CHED's website & CHED can highlight this exchange on NAIT's website.

This Seems Like A Match Made In Heaven For Both 630 CHED & IV NAIT Radio Students,

Rory
