Dear Jeff:

I've always said that immigrants are the "backbone" of this nation. They make Canada great with their ethnic diversity & backgrounds. As the son of an immigrant myself, I'm very pleased II promote Edmonton Public Library's (EPL) Beginner Computer Classes in English at the Stanley A. Milner Branch EPL location on Tuesday nights from September XVIth (16th)-December IXth (9th), MMXIV from 6:30-8:30pm.

Allowing new Canadians & landed immigrants & foreign citizens II learn rudimentary English skills in a relaxed "learn at your own pace" computer setting will allow them II adapt II life in Canada faster. They will then be able to get jobs & start contributing to the well-being of their new Dominion. Program Coordinator Lindy Brown of Catholic Social Services & Community Librarian Laura George of EPL have done a bang up job of getting this class together & should be lauded IV their efforts!

The Immigration Station,

Rory
