Dear Jeff:

As folks know, I am a huge supporter of Edmonton Public Library's (EPL) & library branches in general as a superb learning environment IV students of all ages to come to. Plus, family's & friends can have fun not just learning about things, but getting together IV a study project or coming to the library to start planning a social event IV instance. Executive Dissertations takes the very rare & very unusual step of breaking its "1 blog post per day, every day of the year  (including Christmas Day) rule" to congratulate EPL CEO Linda Cook on down to all EPL employees on the successful construction & opening of this very fine branch. I believe it will serve the residents of Highlands & adjoining neighbourhoods very well. Plus it can be a feeder branch to help folks in this area find information they may not be able to access at Beverly Crest (Abbotsfield), Sprucewood, & Stanley A. Milner EPL branch locations. I wish the management & staff of EPL & the branch staff much success on this new venture. The exciting thing is that Highlands EPL is just like Jasper Place EPL in that it is built on its old site, so residents will not have too hard a time getting to the branch II study! It's very well built inside, with areas for reading, writing, chatting, listening, viewing, & more quiet areas IV study, as well as a beautiful events room! Very well put together indeed!

Focused & Proper,

Rory
