Dear Jeff:

I  wholeheartedly agree with Ward VI (6) Edmonton City Council Candidate & Police Constable Dexx Williams. His frustration at the lack of student engagement is telling & I am sure the other candidates IV all public offices feel the same way. Spending time with students, hell any voter is valuable as a candidate must always run as if s/he is one vote behind, that's how you "play the game." Maybe it would be better if each candidate made videos on what they might do IV students, both as a council member, & in tandem with local school boards, then students could go look at them at the Elections Edmonton website & make their decision based on what they see. This has to be better than showing up at a candidates meet & greet such as the one that was held at Grant MacEwan University yesterday wherein more candidates showed up than voters.

Candidates Only Have So Many Chances To & Resources With To Make An Impression,

Rory
