Dear Jeff:

What about the idea of shipping scrap lumber & plywood all stored in an Edmonton warehouse IV transport? This would undoubtedly save Her Majesty's Government C's of millions of $'s towards construction material costs. I worked a temporary job for extra cash at a construction site IV two days last week & was horrified at all of the excellent lumber & plywood scraps I was throwing out.

So with the permission of the employer, I took two trunk loads (one per day) of lumber over to Youth Emergency Shelter Society (YESS) sites IV them II use in the repair of some of their wooden framed structures. Millions of board feet of lumber is thrown out daily by construction firms. I am sure they would be glad to give it to southern Alberta flood construction, including the repair/replacement of schools in flooded zones.

Environmentally Sound,

Rory
