Friday, June 25th, 1971:

Writing: "still", "tag", "under", "very."
Reading: tab P. 173, 174.
     ___check.
Arithmetic: assemble in gym to 
                 arrange for sports day & count team members by having students call out numbers.
Spelling: Silent Reading: "Ranches and Rainbows."
Story: oral quiz.
        (notes re: pancake breakfast plans.) Students can invite seniors living around their homes who are poor & living alone to enjoy some nice food & a fun day of watching kids exercise to cheer them up. This is so seniors know the young care about them.




     - Trip to Jasper Place (J. P.) Library.
     - leave school at 1:20PM.
     - arrive at 2PM.
          - have students read to one another & the librarians and other kids/parents/people in library.
          - librarians will show students the process for checking out a book & the index card system.

All those Classics Illustrated comic covers (except for the Gahan Wilson Poe graphic novel) are familiar. But odd to see a price tag of £3.25 for the Macbeth -- that's a hell of a lot compared to 15¢.
