This covering of the Oilers since they were in the World Hockey Association (WHA), hockey & the National Hockey League (NHL), & occasionally other sport endeavours put Jim in a class of his own. A proud son of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jim has dedicated his life with passion to covering the Oilers & his adopted home city for a long time. His achievement & staying power in the position ought to be lauded by all.
