Dear Jeff:

Meterological students need II be made aware of the potential for a tsunami, or tidal wave affect each & every time there is a coastal earthquake. This is especially true since a VII.VII (7.7) earthquake on the Richter Scale just hit the beautiful British Columbia Queen Charlotte Islands coastline. These warnings were later downgraded II "less likely to happen" once the earthquake aftershocks were finished. Its good IV students to be on alert here b/c they will be the ones issuing the warnings of any future weather events once they get jobs with Environment Canada & other meterological services/service based company's.

A Deep Pressure Ocean Sensor,

Rory
