Dear Thomas:

I just discovered a tresasure of a postcard when looking through my mom's things for sorting & distribution. In MCMLXXXVII (1987), she & my sister went II England so my mom could attend tea with The Queen at Buckingham Palace, as well as do some sightseeing. My mother sent me a postcard of a beautiful stained glass window in a church. She learned from the tour guide that stained glass windows were taken out of many church windows & stored in basements & in neighboring business basements, as well as at farmhouses. This was of course to preserve them, some C's (100's) of years old b/c of all of the heavy bombing raids by different German air divisions. So in otherwords to save history & prevent it from being destroyed, you have II take it apart, so it can be put back together as part of the whole again!

Thanks IV The History Lesson Mom,

Rory
