Dear Thomas:

Extreme appreciation has II be expressed II the Edmonton Police Service Child At Risk Response Team & EMT's IV their adept & quick rescue of a III year old child who was barefoot outside in the snow. Especially frightening when you consider at the time the mean temperature was minus XXXIV (-34) degrees centigrade with the windchill. We must praise the neighbor who took action & brought proper police & medical authority's II the scene II ensure this young lad had an immediate warmup from potential hypothermia & was kept safe until it was determined he didn't require medical attention after all. Before we condemn the child's mother & the babysitter, we must ensure that all the facts come out & that they get a fair judicial hearing. I would however suggest Thomas that the boy, like all III year old boys deserves the best of schooling as he journey's through his pre-school years & that social services &/or another relative look after him. The mother can still be in his life, but until she straightens out her poor attitude of parental caring, she should only be allowed supervised visitation.

My Heart Is Burdened By This Disgraceful Attitude,

Rory
