Dear David:

Is this ever a ludicrous attack on Christianity. At a public school in Fremont, Nebraska: a XII (12) year old student named Elizabeth Carey cannot where her rosary II school as its considered a gang symbol. This happened while she was attending elementary school last year. This is an unmitigated disaster, Liz wants to wear a necklace that shows off her pride in her Catholic faith. But, she's stopped & yet its okay IV Sikh young males to carry kirpans inII American & Canadian schools b/c they are religious daggers. Religious with a serrated edge that is, plus they could maim &/or kill someone or even a number of students. The American Civil Liberties Union of Nebraska is right to get involved.

The policy is just pitting one religion against another! Why is it okay IV Sikhism to be respected & kirpans to be allowed into a school, but Christian children such as Liz have to worship at home? It seems like a double standard to me David!

What About You,

Rory
