Dear David:

In order to educate children on the value of animals, we need look no farther than our own crown jewel: The Storyland Valley Zoo. From Lucy the Elephant on down, there are many variety's of species of animals IV children to look at & study, as well as to admire. Students coming this summer on tour groups with their family's might just develop an interest in a career in animal welfare or veterinary medicine. That can only be good news IV any future patients, including those animals currently housed at the zoo.
