Dear David:

By even entertaining the idea of moving J.H. Picard Elementary-High School in the Edmonton Catholic Schools system over II the confines of Silverberry & suburbia, Catholic adminisrators are cutting their own Franco-Albertan throats. IV the francais language to survive & even thrive in Edmonton, we need J.H. Picard to stay where it is, across the riviere from downtown. Still however centralized enough IV francais etudiants II be able II get II it from across Edmonton.

While I am certainment that Silverberry needs its own ecole, taking J.H. Picard away from XCIXth Street will lessen the impact IV the Catholic system II turn out fine bilingual Albertans. Captain Jean-Luc Picard of tv's : "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (C. Paramount Pictures Corporation (TM)) would not be amuse at the lack of respect shown his namesake.

Lets Keep Francais Vivant,

Rory
