Dear David:

This is really more of a thought process than an article. Are the Grade XII Language Exams in say Arabic, German, Spanish, Cree, Ukranian & others also Departmentals? I know they can act as substitutes IV language credits David towards a high school diploma. But my thinking sir is that if the students who are taking the exams in these other world languages could get Departmental credit in them, they could use them as a springboard towards a post-secondary career. Whereas now, only English & Francais are considered Departmental as they are Canada's II official languages.

I truly believe David that if all students taking other Grade XII Language Exams could use the XXX (30) Level Courses towards their careers, it would certainly increase overall high school graduation rates abong ethnic & immigrant populations. Literacy & more educated populaces say in for instance the Somali community I think will lead II more responsible immigrant Canadians & less murders & overall violence IV example.

Tres Bien,

Rory
