Dear David:

I was just talking here in the library II some kids from Athlone & Lauderdale Elementary Schools. They are really concerned about the lack of nutrition available in & around their schools IV healthy eating choices. The kids tell me that they are sick of "hot dog days" & would prefer days or themes in the schools where soups, salads, fruits, and vegetables are brought in. Sometimes they do not eat healthy in the mornings, they'll have a bowl of cereal, but its very sugary and of course they'll have no fruit to supplement it. Instead, they'll be given a glass of fruit juice which will have an extremely high level of sugar in it.

What These Kids Say Makes Sense,

Rory
